Drama Club

In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home — and her fins — behind and live in the world above. But first, she’ll have to defy King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she’s the girl whose enchanting voice he’s been seeking. Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved stories, Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR. is an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance.

Every student who registers for the Drama Club is automatically in the cast.  Auditions are for role placement only.  Auditions will be Tuesday 1/30 and callbacks will be Thursday 2/1. All students auditioning should plan to be there for BOTH days from 2:30-4:30.

MANDATORY FORMS

  • All Students who register for Drama Club are required to fill out two forms. If needed, copies are available in the front office.
  • Form #1:  Audition Packet.   This gives Junior Actors Company the information they will need when placing students in roles.  (you ONLY need to print pages 5 and 21-25 and bring them to auditions).
  • Form #2:  Parent/Student Contract.  This is for the PTA Volunteers to gather information that will help them run rehearsals and parent committees.  This form will also state expectations for students and parents and includes a liability and photo release.
